R1: Good morning, I’m Abby P.
R2: And I’m Kyle C. reporting from the Rosemary Angelina Broadcast Center.
R1: Today is Friday, February 2nd, 2018. It is day 8 of the 12-day cycle.
R2: Our Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Mrs. Meile’s first grade class. Please stand, face the flag in your classroom, and put your right hand over your heart to recite the pledge.

R1: Please be seated for some news and announcements. ((Wait for camera person’s cue)) Today, the BIG story on the lane is THE EAGLES ARE PLAYING IN THE SUPERBOWL THIS SUNDAY!
R2: We know that you will be cheering for the Eagles in the big game! Go EAGLES!!!!!!
R1: We have three birthdays to announce for today. Happy birthday to Rishi Amaravadi, Jace Petit, and Mrs. Costello
R1, R2: Happy birthday, everyone!
R1: All Box Tops are due today. Be sure to hand them in if you have any.
R2: The Mid-Winter Festival is tonight from 6 to 8 pm.
R1: The whole family will enjoy this fun event with awesome games, yummy foods, and good friends.
R2: February has some important upcoming events, like Valentine’s Day, Band and Orchestra Rehearsals begin again, and the beginning of the Winter Olympics in South Korea.
