Each assignment has it’s own completion date, which I will check occasionally; however, the entire packet should be submitted by the due date listed above. In addition, please be prepared with your final project on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. The first 7 pages are worth 10 points each, while the final project is worth 100, making up the 170 total points for this assignment.

We can use philosophical questions inspired by our reading of the text to expand our understanding of our personal lives, current events and society. These kinds of questions help us ponder, wander, and dig deeply into the meaning of our life experience. It is okay to go off of the text at this point. (With questions on level 1 and 2, you should stick to the text.)

Directions: For your final book of choice assessment you may chose from the eight options listed below. Project Requirements can be found on the posters placed around the classroom. Please be prepared with your work on Wednesday, June 13th. I WILL NOT accept this late.

Option 1:Movie Poster Project—create a movie poster for a movie version of the book you have read.

Option 2: Mapping It All Out—create a poster sized map of the town and area where your novel takes place—the setting of the novel.

Option 3: My Novel—The Sequel—write the next chapter in the book or a summary of what you think the sequel should be about.

Option 4: Novel Recording Studios—create a playlist of 10 songs that best represents the novel that you have just read. Playlist should reflect the themes and ideas in the novel.

Option 5: The Novel News—create the front page of a newspaper of your novel.

Option 6: Ticking Timeline—create a timeline of the 10 most crucial events in your novel.

Option 7: Dear Diary—create a character diary from the perspective of one of the main characters in your novel.

Option 8: Novel Art Works—create a piece of artwork that represents your novel or an aspect of your novel.
