WELCOME TO CHS 21C
In September 2012, the 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Grant began its officialprogramming at CHS. This grant has allowed ConcordHigh School to greatly enrich the kinds ofactivities offered during before and after school hours. This five year grantexpands community partnerships, and increases student learning through interest based and hands on activities. The 21st CCLC couples with Concord High’s existing co-curricular program to provide aseamless before and after school program with numerous academic andenrichment opportunities.
Goals: 1) Improve academic achievement for students who participate.
2) Improve the social, emotional and behavioral well-being of students
who participate.
3) Promote the role of families in their students’ social, emotional, behavioral
and academic success.
Programming: The CHS 21st CCLC will run 15 hours of programming weekly. There
will be daily homework help after school along with a
myriad of other offerings. CHS 21C brochures/calendars will be
in a pocket on the 21C Office door (across from Officer H).

CHS 21C is open on all regular school days – we are not open on early
release days, school observed holidays or any other day RMS is closed.
Registration: CHS 21C is a drop in program. Any and all students are welcome to
attend any time.
Transportation:21CCLC offers its own late buses at 5:30. Students will be given a late
bus pass with their address on it. Each driver creates their route based on
the addresses of riders. Student will be dropped as close to home as
reasonable. Parents/guardians may choose to pick students up and, of
course, students may provide their own transportation.
Student who walk to CHS are expected to walk home or make other
arrangements..
Inclement Weather: Living in New England it is always possible that weather will
change as the school day progresses. 21C Staff, working with CHS
Administration and CSD Transportation, will work to ‘make the call’
by 1:00. Updates will be posted on the 21C websites and students will
be alerted via school announcements.
21C does not take place if school has been canceled.
Emergencies: CHS 21C Staff will handle all emergencies in-line with regular Concord
school district policies. Please note that no School Nurse is on duty
during before/after school hours.
Crimson Code: We wish for fun learning experience for all 21C students. All students are
expected to follow regular school rules, guidelines and policies.
We reserve the right to ask student not adhering to school rules to leave
the CHS campus.
