I have your son or daughter in Introduction to Information Technology (IT).
The following information is for parents and guardians to keep regarding this course!
1-The teacher, Ms. Wright, can be emailed at .
2-You, your child and a witness must sign and submit the TECHNOLOGY Sheet ASAP for your child to maintain network & Internet access at East Ridge High School – which is integral to this course!
3-Students can prepare for objective tests, mid-terms, and final exams from study guides and notes.
4-Students can earn 5 points Extra Credit each week by dressing in Business Dress each Wednesday. Outfit must be worn the entire period.
5-CLASS MATERIALS NEEDED/DUE DATES:
1)Syllabus is to be signed by both student & parent and are DUE Tuesday, September 2, 2014 for new students.
2)Students need to join the Introduction toInformation Technology online Edmodo group to turn in assignments.
3)The $5.00 Lab Fee is DUE Friday, September 25, 2014(10 points extra credit each grading period).
6-It is the student’s responsibility to ask the teacher for make-up work when absent!
7-QUIET READING and WRITING will be incorporated into this course on a weekly basis Subject-area article will be assigned weekly. Students should come to class with extra reading material in case assignments of the day are complete. Reading materials can include a magazine, a book, or even a textbook from another class (course textbook cannot be read for this assignment). Please encourage your child to read and be prepared for this activity.
