Abstract

The International Space Station (ISS) dc power system comprises a large number of separate loads connected ultimately to the solar array panel source. The tendency of the system to restore to a state of equilibrium following a perturbation, the stability of the system, is of paramount consideration because of the complexity of the system design. This presentation will provide some basic information about the system, and will address considerations of both small-signal and transient stability.
