Registration and commencement of classes for Odd Semester 2017-18 Session.

The Registration process for Odd Semester 2017-18 will start as per following schedule:

The process of Registration will be as per the following guidelines:

  1. Registration will be done at the concerned department under the supervision of HOD only after deposition of full fees of the previous and current semesters or NO OBJECTION from Chief Accountant.
  2. Students will be allowed in the class and getting attendance from the date of registration. However total number of classes will be counted from the date of commencement of classes as stated above.
  3. Registration will be treated ‘provisional’ and will be confirmed after the declaration of result of previous semester end exam of AKTU subject to compliance of criteria of the university.
  4. All students have to submit an Undertaking of Attendance and Good Conduct as per University norms. The format of the Undertaking is annexed as Annex.I / may be downloaded from
  5. 2nd year students will have to submit Anti-Ragging Affidavit (On Rs. 10/- Non-judicial Stamp Paper) duly signed and affixed with student’s and parent’s photograph and duly notarized, to get clearance from Registrar’s office before getting Registered for the Odd Semester Session 2017-18.

The format of the Undertaking is annexed as Annex.II / may be downloaded from

  1. Fee from Reserve Category students shall be charged as per Government Orders.
  2. In case date of Registration is changed, then the change will be notified through Website-
  3. Fine will be imposed after 25/07/2017 @ 50 (fifty rupees) per day.

3. Attendance:

3.1 Every student is required to attend all the lectures, tutorials, practicals and other prescribed curricular and co-curricular activities. The attendance can be condoned upto 25% on medical grounds or for other genuine reasons beyond the control of students.

3.2 A further relaxation of attendance upto 15% for a student can be given by Head of Institution / College provided that he / she has been absent with prior permission of the Head of the Institution/college for the reasons acceptable to him.

3.3. No student will be allowed to appear in the end semester examination if he / she does not satisfy the overall average attendance requirements of Clause Nos. 3.1, and 3.2 and such candidate(s) shall be treated as having failed.

3.4 The attendance shall be counted from the date of commencement of the class in the semester notified by the college.

  1. That I understand the AICTE / UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Education Institutions 2013 (hereinafter called the “Regulation”) and fully understand the provisions contained in the said Regulations.
  2. I have, in particular, clause 3 of the Regulations and am aware as to what constitutes RAGGING.
  3. I have also, in particular, perused clause 7 and clause 9.1 of the Regulations and am fully aware of the penal and administrative action that is liable to be taken against my me in case I am found guilty of or abetting ragging, actively or passively, or being part of a conspiracy to promote ragging.
