RE: Meeting Minutes- September 28, 2017
Meeting called to order 7:59pm
Not in Attendance: Horsham Soccer, Jeffersonville Soccer, Lansing Knights, Montgomery Soccer, Parkwood Youth, Quakertown, Roxborough Indians, Samuel Football, St Joseph the Worker, St Thomas More, Torresdale Boys Club, Ukrainian Nationals.
Reports:
Recording Secretary- Roll call done.
Treasurer- N/R
Grievance- All reports will be listed on the website. Cards are down 17% from last year. Only 2 reds for the boys to date and they were for 2 yellows in a game.
Ethics- Discussed recent activity. This year we’ve had more abuse of Ref incidents. We are forming a committee to address this. In addition to the fees and fines listed we will also be including time-based suspensions. Current Ethics Report provided for clubs.
Games- Games that need to be rescheduled must be done in accordance with the Emergency Reschedule rules or the request will be declined.
Registrar- Jr. registration closes 10/9. The mandatory coaches meeting will be held on 10/26. Spring League application will posted after Jr. registration is over.
EPSA- Cup draw was made. We do not have any Sr. teams this year.
EPYSA- N/R
Scholarship- Applications go out in November.
Competition- N/R
Finance- N/R
Old Business-
EPYSA player registration increase in 2018. Will advise ASAP so that clubs can plan accordingly.
New Business-
JR Registration, see above.
Ineligible players- Player must have laminated, stamped pass and be on the roster in order to play. Reminder given that rosters are not line ups.
Ethics- see above. ICSL Board looking to increase fines and sanctions in Coach/Referee confrontations. Discussing possible anger management course for coaches. Any suggestions on courses, please let Courtney know.
Good & Welfare-
Union tickets- Raffle held for 10/1 game. Southampton won the tickets and parking pass.
