Hi Coaches,
I wanted to touch base with all of you regarding the B Meet, which will be on Saturday, October 14th at Maryvale High School.
- There will be an entry fee of $30 per team this year to cover the cost of ribbons, having the building open, etc. Checks can be made out to: Girls Swim Team Booster Club
- Ribbons will be given out to the top 8 swimmers, and 9-16 place swimmers will get a participation ribbon.
- SMALL(B) schools will have an 8am warm up and a 9am start. (Coaches meeting at 8:30am)
- LARGE(BB) schools will have a 12:30pm warm up and a 1:30pm start. (Coaches meeting at 1:00pm)
- Please have your busses drop you off in front of our pool doors (off of the Union Rd entrance). The busses can then park in the lot behind the pool (next to the tennis courts). Pick up after the meet can be in the same location.
- Our booster team will be running aconcession stand in the hall during both sessions of the meet.
- There will be a hospitalityareafor coaches, where wewill havelight refreshments available.
- We will be selling programs for $1, but there will be no entry fee for spectators.
- Please tell your spectators to sit in the spectator area, which is located UPSTAIRS (there is an elevator, if necessary). Please tell them not come onto the pool deck, as it will be very crowded. I will put a sign on the pool door to remind them.
- We will be using Meet Manager to set up the heats and print the programs.Please use the attached template to submit your entries. Please submit your entries no later than midnight on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10th.
- In addition, we will be awarding the Gary Grant Memorial Award during each session, as we have done in years past. Please be prepared to submit one nominee from each team for this award. You may email the nominee’s name along with your entries.
