With your support, CSUN has become a great university, a cultural and intellectual center for the region and home for an array of applied research that makes life safer, healthier, and more fulfilling.

Most importantly, you are helping over 30,000 Cal State Northridge students receive an outstanding education through strong teaching, small classes, improved technology and a virtually new campus. Our students enjoy a film program considered “the best in Southern California” and a music department ranked in the top 6% nationally. From teacher education, journalism and business to science and engineering, our students benefit from programs of outstanding reputation. No surprise then that CSUN students are high achievers in national academic competitions and that, at last year’s NCAA tournament, CSUN scholar athletes ranked second only to Stanford in their team graduation rate among 64 universities present! CSUN emphasizes academic achievement by all.
