Dear

I am writing to inform you aboutthe upcoming exciting event hosted by Tamworth Round Table that is thePride of Tamworth Community Awards. The event is also supported by Destination Tamworth, Drayton Manor, and Tamworth Herald. This will be the opportunity for the people of Tamworth to vote for individuals whom they feel have made a difference to others.

You will soon start to see nominations for the 9 different categories running in the local press and on social media. These will run through October and November with the Tamworth Herald running articles on the various nominees.

Once the nominations have all been received a judging panel will invite the top 3 from each category and their guests to attend an exclusive presentation evening, where food and entertainment will be provided. People of all ages will be recognised for their efforts and achievements.

This will be held at Drayton Manor on Friday 3rdFebruary,it will also be attended by GB athlete Meghan Beesley. The winner of each category will be announced and presented with an award, they will then be put forward for the Pride of Tamworth Awardthat will be voted for on the night. The winner of this award will then also get put forward to go into the Pride of Britain.

This is a very exciting opportunity for Tamworth. Potentially your organisation and/or the people within it could find themselves receiving a nomination. We would be very grateful if you can also publicise this event as much as possible and promote it in your media and newsletters.

There will be 3 ways to nominate someone for an award they are through the Tamworth Herald, Postal vote, and email . The closing dates for nominations will be 31st December 2016, and announcements of the top 3 for each category will be made on 5th January 2017. All nominees will be printed in the local press and showcased via social media.

Any questions regarding the award please contact Sean Poultney 07970 906557.

With Regards
