Future Stars Recreational Gymnastics Routines 2018

FLOOR (BOYS & GIRLS)

Level 1

  1. Forward roll
  2. Half turn jump
  3. 1 footed balance with knee raised to 90 degrees (hold 3 secs) return foot to floor
  4. Sit down and lie flat on back, roll over to stomach
  5. Push to Front support (hold 3 secs)
  6. Turn to Back support (hold 3 secs), lower and rock to stand
  7. Step into Cartwheel
  8. Join feet and Tuck jump

Level 2

  1. Cartwheel
  2. Backward roll
  3. Jump half turn
  4. Forward roll to Straddle stand, jump feet together
  5. Arabesque (Hold 3 secs)
  6. Lower to floor and push up to Bridge (Hold 3 secs) OR lift to Tucked Headstand (Hold 3 secs)
  7. Return to lying on back, and lift to Dish (3 secs), roll over to stomach
  8. Hold Arch (3 secs), return to stand.

Level 3

  1. Step into 2x Cartwheels connected
  2. Step into Handstand forward roll, immediate Half turn jump
  3. Backwards rollwith straight legs
  4. Step into Arabesque (Hold 3 secs)
  5. Full turn jump
  6. Slide into any Splits (hold 3 secs) OR lower and lift to Straight leg Headstand (hold 3 secs)
  7. Round off(+flic optional)
  8. Straddle Jump

VAULT (BOYS & GIRLS)

Level 1

Straight jump onto a red block, walk smartly to the end, jump off

Level 2

Squat on – Jump offover vaulting tableORSquat throughover vaulting table (1.00 bonus for squat through)

Level 3

Handspring Flat back over vault table at Suitable HeightOR Handspring over block

PARALLEL BARS (BOYS ONLY)

Level 1

- Jump to support (hold 3 secs)

- Tucked ½ lever (hold 3 secs)

- 3 Swingsand drop between bars on backward swing

Level 2

- Jump to support

- Half lever (hold 3 secs)

- 3Swingsand step across dismount on forward swing

Level 3

- Jump to supporton end of bars

-Walk to middle of bars

- 2 dips

- Half lever (hold 3 secs)

- Cast into 4 Swingsand step across dismount on backward swing

BARS (GIRLS ONLY)

Level 1 (On Low Bar)

  1. Jump to front support
  2. Cast to 45 Degrees
  3. Cast to 45 Degrees
  4. Forward Circle DMT ( 0.5 bonus if DMT is controlled -Legs optional)

Level 2(On High Bar)

  1. Jump to hang in a straight shape on the high bar (Hold 3 secs)
  2. Hold pike shape (3 secs) (0.5 bonus for leg lift)
  3. Drop one arm, ½ turn on bars.
  4. Hold dish, Hold Arch (3 secs)
  5. Jump to land

Level 3 (On Low Bar)

1. Circle up

2. Cast 45 degrees

3. Cast 45 degrees

4. Back hip circle

5. Cast away DMT (0.5 bonus for a Squat on or Straddle/Pike undershoot).
