This qualification is ideal for anyone working in the catering and hospitality industry or those about to start work in the industry. Subjects covered; hazards & controls, food safety management temperature controls, food poisoning control, personal hygiene, cleaning & disinfection, food pests and the role of the food handler in keeping food safe. / Everyone who works with food has a special responsibility for safeguarding the health of consumers and ensuring that the food they serve is perfectly safe to eat. / On obtaining a Highfield food safety qualification, employees who handle food will gain a strong understanding of the importance of food safety and a knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved. Furthermore, they will have the confidence and expertise to deliver quality food safely to customers.
The HQ Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (QCF) is accredited and recognised internationally and has been developed to protect customers, brand reputation and profits.

Once the payment has been received, confirmation will be sent to the correspondence name and address given on the form.

Training is only provided in English
The Candidate must be able to understand spoken & written English
Cancellations will not be accepted less than 48 hours prior to the course. / The cost is £71VAT exempt, includes exam fees, training materials, refreshments & certificate for successful candidates.
Lunch is NOT provided.
An additional £10 is charged if you are outside Wycombe DC area.
Fee must be paid two weeks prior to course date, if not received the place will be offered to another candidate.
A reduced fee is available for the unemployed.
Premises within Wycombe DC are not obliged to undertake training provided by the council. They can use any other accredited organisations to meet their statutory duties. /
