ADOPTION TRAINING THROUGH EL PASO COUNTY DHS
2015 Schedule
Adoption training classes through El Paso County consists of five sessions - four two-hour sessions and one four-hour session - for a total of 12 hours. Please see the schedule below. You must attend the entire session to receive credit for that class. Families should start with the first class and proceed through all 12 hours. All the adoption classes are required for new adoptive families receiving adoption assistance from El Paso County. Others may attend as well. Sorry, but no child care is available and the Department will not reimburse for child care costs. All classes will be held at the Citizen’s Service Center at 1675 Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80907, in the Nautilus Room, 3rd floor. Light refreshments will be provided. On full day sessions, half an hour will be given for lunch. It is recommended that you bring your lunch with you.
