Advisees,
It is that time again. Time to start thinking about the Fall2015 semester. Registration begins on Tuesday, April 7thand goes through till Friday April 24th. If you are planning to attend UW-Platteville in the Fall, you MUST meet with me (or another academic advisor) between March 30th and your enrollment date (see instructions below). I suggest you make that appointment approximately one week prior to your enrollment date.
If you are not returning to UW-P for the fall semester, please let me know so that I don’t keep sending you reminder emails.
You can book an appointment to see me during my office hours. Please book a 20 minute appointment and give me at least 24 hours notice.
How to make an appointment:
Go to my schedule by clicking on the Schedule link on my webpage
Scroll down to the appropriate week.
Select an open time that is shaded in beige ( shaded in this color on my schedule)
Send me an email at
Tell me the time AND the day you have selected. I will reply to confirm your appointment.Your name will appear on the schedule so that other students will know that time slot is booked. If the times shaded in beige don’t work for you, feel free to suggest a different time. I will try to accommodate you.
Appointments are accepted on a first come/first served basis. If another student has already reserved the time you have requested, you will need to select another time.
What to do before coming to the meeting.
1) Log on to PASS and check your enrollment appointment time. This is the earliest time you will be allowed to enroll.
2) Make an appointment to meet with me beforeyour enrollment date. Putting registration off is foolish. You are just letting other students cut in line in front of you and you will end up not being able to take classes that are the most suitable.
3) Come prepared with any drafts of your Fall schedule you may have.
4) New feature on PASS. There is an additional enrollment appointment within the enrollment date box. It is called the "shopping cart appointment." This is a new feature that allows you to put classes in your shopping cart prior to your enrollment appointment and validate. The validation will alert about conflicts, pre-reqs, etc.
Looking forward to seeing you soon,
