Parent enthusiasm and support are a great part of youth baseball. The Boyertown Midget Baseball League welcomes active cheering and encouragement. We pride our league on the dedication to providing a safe and positive environment for our players, parents and spectators.

You as a parent and spectator are requested to be considerate at all times of the feelings of all the players and the sensitivities of those fans seated around you.

Hopefully, this request is all that is necessary.

The Boyertown Midget Baseball League will enforce this request in the following manner:

  1. Persons using obscene or abusive language or engaging in any other antisocial conduct, offensive to those around them will be asked to cease this conduct.
  2. Persons heckling and/or taunting an umpire during any midget league game will be asked to cease this conduct.
  3. Parents are asked to keep an open line of communication between themselves and their child’s coach.
  4. Parents are asked to remember that our league is run solely on a volunteer basis. Umpires in our junior program are most likely another player’s father. Whereas we do our best to educate new umpires, not even a seasoned umpire is above errors. We ask that you keep this in mind and be considerate to our umpire’s feelings at all times.
  5. Parents of our senior program are asked to treat the umpires with the utmost respect and support.
  6. Parents are asked to remember that your actions have a direct influence on your child. The league will not tolerate public embarrassment of any player.

Failure to comply with the above Code of Conduct will result in the removal of the parent from the premises and review by our Executive Committee. A second violation will result in the immediate suspension of that parent’s son or daughter from playing within the league. Each case will be handled on an individual bases. The Executive Committee of the League reserves the right to determine the length of suspension.

The Boyertown Midget Baseball League’s first priority is that of our players. We strive to provide a safe, positive and honorable place for your child to learn and play the game of baseball. Your abiding by the above Code of Conduct will help us to ensure that type of environment.

By signing the Registration and Liability Release Form, you acknowledge having read this Parent Code of Conduct and agree to abide by it.
