The meeting was called to order by President Asplund-Walsh at 10:10 a.m.

1. Speaker Nick Toumpas, DHHS discussed Implementation of Managed Care - a new schedule is being worked on with Phase II being pushed back.

2. Approval of the minutes of the September Executive Committee meeting (posted online) was approved.

3. There was a Motion by Ron White to appoint Jason Henry to be a member of the Executive Committee from Carroll County. Adopted.

4. The Finance Director Theresa Young gave the Treasurer Report. The Association is in good financial standing. The Finance Director made two recommendations:

(1) There was a discussion and then tabled regarding a donation do the Dana Faber Cancer Center for Betsy Miller. Need to establish a policy for donations.

(2) There was a discussion and a motion was made and adopted to overspend up to $300 to send NHAC voting member Carol Holden to the conference in DC on October 29, 2014.

5. The President gave an update on the Annual Conference - need registrations and agenda information. Brief update on the vendors for the convention. Discussion and agreed that for the educational sessions, the cost is $30 plus lunch. This year the lunch is covered by a vendor. But to vote the individual needs to be registered at the conference.

6. The President informed the Executive Committee on the 97th Academy at Merrimack County - October 6th, graduation November 7th. NHAC holds the contract and will pay the full $2162 and Primex will reimburse NHAC for half ($1081).

7. The President informed the Executive Committee without objection and no motion is required changing "Above and Beyond" award to the "Betsy B. Miller Above and Beyond Award".

8. Legislative Agenda: Bills to watch for:

Legislative Luncheon will be held on November 20th from 11:30 to 12:30 pm. A notice will be sent out.

9. Discussion on how to move forward on the applicants applying for Executive Director positions. Deadline for applications is October 10th. Further discussion will be held at the Annual Conference at the end of October.
