He exhibited very good sportsmanship under competitive duress. He plugged away without getting upset through a number of calls that went against him. Kevin was nothing but supportive with scheduling adjustments that flip-flopped his singles and doubles matches because of his opponent’s long lasting prior match.
GREENVALLEY JUNIOR CLASSIC - MADISON EAMES

Madison maintained her composure in a mentally tough competitive battle. She was very complimentary and respectful to her opponent at mentally tough times.

Her behavior on the court was always exemplary. We had to reschedule two of her matches back to back very late in the night and she never complained, she just went about her business of playing tennis.

He played fair and hard. He looked sharp on the court and handled himself well. He was always polite.

Kayla always complimented her opponent’s good shots. She was very polite and never complained or whined. She tried her best and didn't make any excuses.

He was a very nice and polite young man. He was accidentally double scheduled and asked if he would mind playing back to back. He said no problem and he had a smile from ear to ear. It didn't bother him at all and he went out and tried his best. He lost both of his matches and he still came off the court with a smile so big he could have eaten a banana sideways. He never complained about anything.

Even in defeat he had a great attitude and was thrilled to be playing. He mentioned on one match that he was going to get killed, but that was okay because at least it would be a good match.

Matt displayed a great attitude about tennis on and off the court. His line calls were always fair. He attended many matches throughout the tournament supporting the other players.

He always has a smile when he comes off the tennis court. You never know if he has won or lost until the score is reported. He truly enjoys his time on the court and shares that passion with those around him.

He was a very gracious player. He won 2 matches due to injury withdrawal and he agreed to wait and play an opponent who was 50 minutes late. He just wanted to play and have fun.

Paul is receiving the Sportsmanship Award for the Ivory Homes Utah State Open because he displayed everything that the word Sportsmanship stands for: Integrity, fairness, self control, respect, honor, persistence, and playing to the best of his abilities.

Noah is receiving the sportsmanship Award for his polite manner in dealing with the tournament desk and for having understanding for an opponent who called with an emergency. He was more than welcome to reschedule their match.

When a player won a Girl's back draw division by default, Molly was hanging around the club watching the tennis and was more than willing to play a fun match with her.

She is always very respectful from the moment she checks in until she leaves. Her positive attitude is very infectious.

He made fantastic line calls. There must have been 50 shots that landed on the line and he called every one of them in. He gave the game 100%, he was always very pleasant.

MONSTER MASH JUNIOR'S TENNIS BASH - JACOB HARRIS

He made good fair line calls. During a tight situation he didn't let anything bother him. He held his cool even when he lost. He showed great sportsmanship.

VIC BRADEN JUNIOR FALL CHAMPIONSHIPS - JACQUE DUNYON

She showed great presence and did exactly what you are supposed to do when you feel you received a bad line call. She played in the 12's (she just turned 8), and showed great competitor attitude.

She was positive, polite and courteous. She was on time, respectful to her opponents and friendly.

He demonstrated excellent friendship. He played a player that this was his first tournament ever and just started playing tennis. Logan was very kind and polite to his opponent making him feel good about his game. He also encouraged him to keep playing and practicing.
