·  Robert J. O’Brien STEM Academy will ensure high quality curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on literacy and mathematics at every grade level for all students.

2.  Implement a Scientific Research Based Intervention model across the school that addresses curriculum and instruction while ensuring effective instruction for all learners. / o  Monitor the implementation of SRBI practices in Tiers I-III.

·  SET data reflect SRBI practices and classroom instruction aligned to the CCSS and effective teaching strategies.

3.  Schedule appropriate professional development based on needs as indicated through SET data, surveys, and other input. / o  Work with David Cormier (K-6) on identifying and defining the elements of effective instruction and the non-negotiables
o  Work with Mary Jo Terranova on special ed and bilingual co-teaching (K-3) and CCSS alignment
o  Provide support in understanding and implementing the CCSS (K-6)

Student Achievement Measure:
·  The Unique Student Incident rate for the school will show a reduction in the number of students suspended (In School Suspensions/Out of School Suspensions) of 5% per year.
·  The Unique Student Incident rate for the school in targeted subgroups (Black, Hispanic, and Special Education) will show a reduction in the number of students suspended (ISS/OSS) averaging 8.3% per year.
4.  Define, improve and increase parent engagement. / o  Administer and analyze Climate Survey for families, students and staff in all schools.
o  Collect Positive Behavioral and Supports SET data and disseminate results to the entire school community.
o  Identify strategies as indicated by analysis of Climate Survey.
o  Implement changes as a result of SERC training in Early Intervention Planning (EIP) process to increase parent involvement / Document Review:
