Radio #3

“May we have a hint on #10, please?”

Hey, this is KRZY on your FM dial—thanks for listening today! We just heard Grover Washington, Jr. with “Just the Two of Us”—great little tune, wasn’t it?

Next up is news and weather, brought to you this day by the newly-opened Henry James Butler School here in TOA. The Henry James Butler School is home to all your butlering needs—serve that wine with panache, glibly entertain those stuffy guests, any and everything for butlers, right here in TOA.

In local news, police were again summoned to the Twigglesworth mansion early Sunday morning when a mysterious person was spotted in the Japanese garden outside the house. Although it appears nothing was stolen from the house, the Twigglesworth cat was apparently “catnapped.” This quote from Assistant Police Chief Poirot: “The butler said he heard the cat crying and screaming from the garden, and then he glimpsed a shadowy figure running away from the house. Since then no one has seen Twinkle-Toes, the family cat.” In light of the recent disappearances of Lady T and their maid (Sherry Smith), and the robbery of valuable silver from the kitchen, the recent string of misfortune continues to plague the Twigglesworth family.

In further news involving the Twigglesworth mystery, driver Mike Nuvallo was fired today after causing yet another accident. Nuvallo has been involved in several over the past month, and Earl Spencer Twigglesworth decided that Nuvallo’s services were no longer needed. Nuvallo was reportedly upset over his salary, and refused to comment on his new unemployed status.

Finally, some good news: Senator T’s All-Natural Eats, the vegetarian restaurant here in TOA, announced it will sponsor a pastry-cooking competition in mid-November. First prize will be a prize of $250,000, an all-expense-paid vacation for 2, and a 2-year contract to advise the Senator’s restaurant on making delicious pastries! All local chefs are invited to submit their most fabulously delicious pastry. Inquiries to the Senator at (that’s s-e-n-n-a-t-e-a-t-s at yahoo dot com).

And today’s weather: look for partly cloudy with a chance of rain later in the afternoon. Of course, darkness will arrive in the evening, and in the morning expect gradual lightening of the sky.

Enough news—let’s listen! Next is Toni Braxton with “I Belong to You” on the best radio station under the sun, KRZY.
