* It is highly recommended, because of the remoteness of the course, that all Junior Racers under 14 yrs old have

a parent or guardian accompany them (for free) in the race – there are exceptions, please contact

promoter.

Courses –

  • Hermosa Extended – Hermosa Creek Trail (FS Trail 514) from South Trailhead to North trailhead and then to Hermosa Park Rd. (FS Road 578), left to Hotel Draw (FS Road 550), left and UP to the Colorado Trail (FS Trail 520), left toward Corral Draw (FS Trail 521), left and DOWN to Hermosa Creek Trail, left to Finish at North Trailhead. (3-5 hours)
  • Hermosa Trail - Hermosa Creek Trail (FS Trail 514) from South Trailhead to North trailhead. (2-3 Hours)

Parking/Shuttles – It is a point-to-point race – Here are some ideas:

  • Camping at Upper Hermosa trailhead also available the night before the race- promoter can shuttle limited number of racers from camp (finish) to start on Saturday morning.
  • Park for start in Lower Hermosa Trailhead Lot and coordinate ride back from finish or plan to stay for BBQ/Campout.
  • Promoter can shuttle a limited number of racers and bikes back to start (post-race).
  • Bring the Family and campout all weekend.

  • Entry Fee- $35. Race day Registration Only!Will need USA CyclingMTB license, annual ($60) or

one-day license (FREE!)– Available at registration
