●Without the help of volunteers, our event is not possible! Your commitment to the cause directly helps children and families at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
●Volunteers help for a specified time on during our 16 hour celebration on Saturday,February 17th, 2018.
●Volunteers help anytime between 9am Saturday and 3am Sunday.
●A final schedule, volunteer expectations and shift assignments will be sent out a few days prior to February 17th.

The following are examples of volunteer tasks:
Kitchen and Food Prep / The kitchen and food prep crew will work in conjunction with the Catering and Operations chairs to prepare and serve meals and snacks throughout the day.Welcome Table / The welcome table crew will work with the Dancer Relations and Operations chairs to assist in the quick and efficient check-in of dancers as well as the distribution of dancer T-shirts/swag bags in the morning. Possibly assist with last-minute fundraiser station.
Greeter and Visitor Liaison / The visitor check-in crew will work with the Operations chair throughout the day to greet and check-in our visitors. They will be in charge of gathering information from the visitors to track team spirit points.
Coat and Bag Check / The coat and bag check team will work together to collect, organize, and watch over dancer’s belongings throughout the day, retrieve items if dancers need to access their bags and distribute them at the end of the event.
Kid’s Corner / The kid’s corner team will work together to provide a clean, organized and engaging space for dancers, miracle children and visitors to come together and participate in activities other than dancing such as crafts, mini games, or face painting.
Social Media Station / The social media crew will manage the social media station in conjunction with the Marketing and External chairs. They will make sure that all computers are running smoothly and help dancers and miracle families to promote The Dance Marathon via social media.
Event Photographer / This crew will be charged with taking photos of The Dance Marathon including both opening and closing ceremonies.
Auction Help / This crew will assist with the silent auction by answering questions, pointing out the auction to visitors and dancers and encouraging them to bid. Possibly helping with online bidding.
