The test must also be made up within the same grading period.

There will be a final exam. It will count for 10% of your overall grade.

Expectations:

  1. Stay in your seats unless given permission otherwise. You may not line up at the door when the bell is about to ring.
  2. You are not allowed behind my desk, on my computer, or in my office, no exceptions. Also, no student is allowed in the back lab. You will go to the restroom at the end of the F hallway. You will be given 3 tickets every 9 weeks for bathroom passes. Please try to use the bathroom prior to class.
  3. According to school policy, cell phones, Ipods, and any other electronic devices are forbidden in the classroom with the exception of the Chromebooks. I will follow the policies established by administration at New Caney High School.
  1. Tardies will count! Consequences will be given according to school rules. The definition of being on time means being in your seat ready to work. If you are walking around the room or standing out in the hall, you will be counted tardy.
  2. No sleeping is allowed in class. In addition, leave your other work in your locker because you will not be allowed to complete it. You are here to learn.
  3. You may have bottled water only in class. If you bring out other foods, I will ask you to put it in the trash can.
  4. A positive, respectful & attentive attitude. I expect 100% effort as I will give you 100% of my effort.

I’m looking forward to an exciting, experience filled year with many new learning opportunities. As long as you comply with my expectations, we will have a WONDERFUL year!
