The tour starts on the Saturday morning at 8.45am out the front of the Avoca Caravan Park.

You will follow us in your vehicle as we travel in convoy to a great area nearby.

We begin our tour with a brief demonstration of technique, settings, tuning etc. (about half an hour or so) Then you get all geared up and start detecting. (You will receive lots of training, as the 3 days are full days of detecting.)

This is a full day out so you will need to bring your morning tea, lunch and refreshments with you.

The day ends at approx. 4 to 4.30 pm, when we return to the Avoca Township.

On the Sunday and Monday mornings we meet again out the front of the caravan park, and travel in convoy to some other great areas nearby. This is another day of hands on detecting, with lots of training provided. As they are full days out, our clients will again need to bring their morning tea, lunch and refreshments with them. Please ensure that you have lots of water to drink.

Our numbers for this tour are strictly limited. We take a group of no more than 6 detectorists if we have all beginners, and a group of 8 detectorists if most are experienced. So we book out fast.

HOW TO BOOK

If you wish to make a booking please email Mark and Ronda Hyde - or give us a call on 0409 188 138

We will confirm your place, and send you your invoice and our payment options. We then require a deposit of $150 per detecting person, (couples deposit $200) within 7 days of booking to secure your place. (Your deposit includes a non-refundable booking fee of $100) The balance of your tour fee is then due 14 days prior to the tour.

To make a booking we need your address and mobile phone number. We also need to know your level of detecting experience (if any), what machine you have (if bringing your own)

Most of our areas are easily accessible with a 2WD; however some tracks require a 4WD for extra ground clearance. Just let us know what sort of a vehicle you have and we can then choose which areas we will go to.

We also need to know if you any health and fitness concerns, or injuries that you feel may impact on your detecting ability. That way we can tailor our tours to ensure that you have the best possible time with us, and choose detecting areas that suit all levels of fitness.

CANCELLATION POLICY- Any cancellations two to four weeks prior to tour will incur a loss of deposit.

Any cancellations less than two weeks prior to tour will incur loss of full tour fee.
