Target Audience
Healing Touch is a nursing based continuing education program for registered nurses, physicians, body therapists, counselors, psycho-therapists, other health professionals, and individuals desiring an in-depth understanding and practice of healing work using energy based concepts.
Healing Touch ProgramÔ Description
A course of study toward a certificate of completion in Healing Touch (HT) which in-corporates a variety of basic to advanced healing modalities. The program is sequenced in 6 levels allowing participants to move from beginner to advanced practitioner, expert and instructor. Certification as a Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor is available on application following completion of course work and additional requirements.
Level 3 Description
Level 3 is for students who desire more in-depth skills in Healing Touch, and have successfully completed Levels 1 and 2. This course includes: development of Higher Sense Perception (HSP), practicing the Full Spectrum Healing Sequence adapted from Brennan’s teachings, working with guidance, self-care, and ethical considerations with HSP.
The participant will learn how to:
· Discuss advanced development of the practitioner.
· Practice Hara Alignment, meditation for self care and practitioner preparation.
· Demonstrate full spectrum healing sequence using Chelation, Spinal Cleansing, and working with the 5th, 6th and 7th levels of the subtle body.
Level 3 Course Content
· The theoretical framework of the Human Energy System according to Barbara Brennan
· The Hara Alignment Meditation as a form of both self care and Practitioner Preparation
· The Full Spectrum Healing Sequence including: Chelation of the first four levels of the field, and working with the 5th, 6th, and 7th levels of the subtle bodies individually and collectively
· Etheric Template Clearing and Lymphatic Clearing
· Principles related to developing Higher Sense Perception
· Legal and professional aspects of energy therapy

Maureen has taught Healing Touch since 1994 and took all her foundational classes from Janet Mentgen, RN, founder of Healing Touch. She has taught throughout the United States and Germany and has been a welcome guest on radio, TV and at professional conferences. She maintains a private practice of energy healing and psychotherapy in Northern Virginia. Her past experience includes working for the Fairfax Falls Church Community Services Board, National Institutes of Health and Inova Hospital System. She is a Board Director for Healing Touch of Tau in Chicago.
