Give the gift of music that gives back this Holiday Season – A Very Special Christmas®!

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the A Very Special Christmas® album series. Since 1987, the A Very Special Christmas® album series has literally changed lives through generating over $100 million in direct support for Special Olympics programs, thanks to the generosity of more than 100 top internationally acclaimed recording artists. Artists donate their time and talent, producers and labels waive their fees, and 100% of the net proceeds from sales of the albums enable Special Olympics to implement programs in such countries as Russia, China and Uganda, and in hard-to-reach urban centers such as New York City and Philadelphia.

Since 1968, Special Olympics has used sport to empower people with intellectual disabilities worldwide. Special Olympics’ growing presence in the developing world has brought to light the struggles faced by people with intellectual disabilities. Now, with 4 million athletes in over 170 countries, Special Olympics has become the premier sports and health organization for one of the world’s most forgotten populations. The artists who dedicate their time and talents to support ‘A Very Special Christmas®’ -- and the people who purchase the album -- are helping people with intellectual disabilities have a voice and be given opportunities to reach their full potential. They are giving Special Olympics the power to forever change lives by replacing the stifling silence of ignorance with the sounds of beautiful music.

Help us celebrate 25 years of ‘A Very Special Christmas’ by purchasing an album from the A Very Special Christmas® series. Through your purchase, you are making possible another kind of music: the rousing cheers of proud parents and friends, where once there was only the stifling silence of ignorance and fear.

Thank you for being a fan and for supporting Special Olympics!
