HANCOCK COUNTY CHILDREN’S THEATER APPLICATION
Hancock County children currently in grades 4 through 8 are invited to apply for this year’s Children’s Theater Workshop. Rehearsals will be held at Greenfield-Central High School in Greenfield. The class will run from May 31 through June 21 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The entry fee is $75.00 and is due after acceptance into the program. Performances will be given on June 21 and 22 at 7:00 PM, at the Greenfield-Central H.S. Auditorium. Children may choose to participate in either the Art Section or the Performance Section of the theater workshop. Students in the Art Section will work on set design, publicity, scenery, and props. The art students will also assist with lighting and special effects. Students in the Performance Section will be cast in acting, singing, and dancing roles in the production. This application should be completed carefully as it will be evaluated by the Selection Committee. Other ratings may be solicited from your child’s music or art teacher. Please be sure to indicate your involvement at your school in art or performance areas. All applicants will be notified by April 8 of the Committee’s decision.

1. You will be able to attend 8:30 AM-12:00 PM Monday through Friday from May 31 until June 21. (You are not allowed to be absent more than two days, except for school make up.)
2. You can participate in the evening performances on June 21 and June 22.
3. You can make arrangements for transportation.
