‘PRAYING THE STREETS’: This week please pray for the people in Rampling Close, Chisnall Close, Ward Close, Allen Road, Durrant Road & Leeks Close.
PRAYER REQUESTS: If there is someone you’d like the church to be praying for, please write their name in the Blue Folder (in the Prayer Corner), with a short description of need if appropriate. These names are prayed for every week at Pause for Prayer and often collectively brought before God in Sunday worship.
NATIVITY SERVICE: This year’s Nativity Service on Dec 11 will be a bit different – a ‘Pop-up Nativity’ – with everyone having the chance to be involved by dressing up as a character from the Christmas story and bringing gifts of food, toiletries and toys for FIND. More info to follow in Dec Newsletter!
DECEMBER 18 MORNING SERVICE: Worship on the morning of the Dec 18 will reflect and celebrate the cultural and ethnic diversity of our congregation. If there is something related to advent from your own cultural or ethnic tradition that you could share with the congregation, please speak to Paul Simon or Karen Harman.
SUPPORT FOR ‘BUILD AFRICA’: Junior Church will be holding a sale of gift tagsand individually coloured Christmas cards after worship this morning. The money raised will go to Build Africa. We are hoping to raise money to buy super seeds - £10, awesome oranges - £14 and a safe water supply - £15. Please give generously and if you would like to buy an alternative gift this Christmas the list will be on the table or you can find the list on the Build Africa website(Alternative Gifts).
During the morning service the young people usually continue their worship in Junior Church. All activities are covered by our Child Protection Policy. Contacts for child safety concerns: Phil Wells (827878) and Karen Harman (824765)
