The names of the transcripts, their accession number in NCBI dbEST (Accession), their predicted function (Putative function) and details on the functional annotations are provided. Transcript sequences were searched against three databases, TAIR [29], NCBI nt [28] and UniProtKB [27], and the alignment with the hit selected for the functional annotations are described in the table with an expected value (E value) and the name (Hit name) and accession (Hit acc) of the hit. The fraction of the transcript sequences aligned with the sequence hit (Fraction) is provided for the functional annotations that used the TAIR database.
