Una campaña presidencial / CP4 Flórez

Guidelines: UNA CAMPAÑA PRESIDENCIAL

You will be creating your own presidential campaign for the upcoming elections. You’re objective is to convince your countrymen that you will be an excellent candidate for presidency and vice-presidency for the US of A. Take into consideration that this must appeal to the Latino community in our country with real issues (immigration, bilingualism, citizenship, etc.).

You will be graded on creativity, originality and the usual Spanish requirements (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, etc.). However, you must focus on how you are going to transmit your message. It may be through video, an actual presentation, a commercial, a Prezi presentation, pictures (the list goes on and on.)

  • Speaking must be 4-5 minutes long (you will be timed)
  • Must incorporate technology (video, Prezi, Glogster, YouTube, Vine, etc.)
  • Mustincludevocabulary from chapter 7 and verbtenses that we have learned throughout the year (preterite, imperfect progressive, present perfect, pluscuamperfecto, sigue + -and/-iendo, future, subjunctive).
  • Professional attire required
  • Must type up the spoken portion of your speech (typed, double-spaced, MLA format)
