Refreshments

Refreshments will be available to purchase from a burger van on the outer track and drinks only can be purchased from The Dugout on the inner track. We are a small walk away from town which is the other alternative for food options, You are welcome to bring your own food to this event, please clear up any litter you create.

What to Wear

This is an informal event so we recommend casual comfortable clothes. The venue is a large Stadium and some areas are very exposed so please come prepared for any weather. There is no shelter or seating so you will need to provide your own.

Parking

All cars will have to park outside of the stadium. The following car parks should be available and only a short walk from the event:

Walton Street Car Park

  • At the bottom of the flyover, move into the right-hand lane at the traffic lights and turn onto Walton Street, proceed approximately 500 metres just beyond the Airco Arena, the car park is situated on your right-hand side.

On Street Parking

  • Areas around the Stadium are resident-only zones. Cars parked illegally will be issued with parking tickets.

Other Activities

As well as viewing the racing on track you can visit the STEM Exhibition in the marquee in the car park where there will be interactive Science and Engineering exhibits from a number of organisations.

It is possible to freely tour all areas (except the F24 track) at any point during the day. Please just remember that the cars are small and silent so always be aware of what’s happening around you.
