In accordance with the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), each state has in place a State Performance Plan (SPP) to evaluate the state’s efforts to meet the requirements and purposes of Part B of the IDEA. The SPP (2005-2012) is a plan that describes Alabama’s performance on 20 Indicators.
