GranFondo Canada Announces Extra Sweeping along Sea to Sky Highway

August 3, 2012 – Vancouver, BC: In preparation for the 2012 RBC GranFondo Whistler on Saturday, September 8, the shoulders of the Sea to Sky Highway are getting a little more attention.

GranFondo Canada, with support from Miller Capilano Maintenance Corporation and Mainroad Howe Sound Contracting are investing in some extra highway sweepings this summer in advance of the event.

The highway gets two seasonal sweepings per year but this year an additional sweeping was made in July, one is scheduled for mid-August and then another one before the GranFondo Whistler event on Sept 8th.
