Region Finance Information –

March, April, May Budget Reports-Jane Miller. Motion made by Mark Petersen and second by Elaine Armstrong to approve the March 2015 budget reports. Motion approved. Motion made by Brady Hanson and second by Randy Hickey to approve the April budget reports. Motion approved. Motion made by Steve Kenkel and second by Russell Kurth to approve the May budget reports. Motion approved.

CSN Special Assessment-Suzanne Watson. Motion made by Elaine Armstrong and second by Mark Petersen to approve and pay in June 2015 the CSN Special Assessment fee of $24,586.06. Motion approved.

ETC update on changes to agreement sent to each county- Lonnie Maguire

Supported Employment funding/grant for FY16- Danelle Bruce. Motion made by Frank Waters and second by Randy Hickey to approve FY16 Job Placement Grants as outlined. Motion approved.

Contracts- FY16 rates for service providers- Suzanne Watson. Motion made by Russell Kurth and second by Steve Kenkel to approve Region vocational contracts including job placement grant addition for Crossroads of Western Iowa, Nishna Productions, Vodec, Cass Incorporated, Concerned Incorporated, and REM Iowa. Motion approved. Motion made by Elaine Armstrong and second by Frank Waters to approve the SWITA Contract for FY16. Motion approved.

FY16 Crisis Stabilization System proposal from The Network for project management- Beth Morrissette, Executive Director. Motion made by Randy Hickey and second by Mark Petersen to approve the FY16 Crisis Stabilization System proposal as presented. Motion approved.

Legislative Update- Lonnie Maguire and Danelle Bruce

Mental Health Advocate discussion- Maggie Reyes, Pottawattamie County Attorney’s Office

Page County financial contribution concerns- Elaine Armstrong

Discussion/Comment from Board Members- Suzanne Watson informed the group the SWIA MHDS Region’s new 24-hour crisis hotline, Hope4Iowa, begins today, June 1, 2015.
