High School Group Letter of Intent
Deadline for Final Application Submission: January 31, 2018 at 11:59pm Eastern Daylight Time
This form is required to participate in the Goodyear STEM Career Day Rube Goldberg Challenge. It establishes your intent to compete and allows Goodyear STEM Career Day representatives to include you on any additional information communications. You will not receive the materials, i.e., the blimp and model tires, necessary for the Rube Goldberg challenge until this form has been completed. In addition, team member’s names and sponsor’s signature on this form indicates the sponsor will assume responsibility of all team members in complying with the following safety pledge:
I pledge, during my involvement in the Goodyear STEM Career Day Rube Goldberg Challenge, to perform no acts which directly or indirectly endanger myself, or my fellow team members. Furthermore, I pledge to take all necessary safety precautions during the design and assembly of my machine, be aware of the danger involved with any materials I work with and be vigilant in ensuring all members of my team are exhibiting safe actions.
