GOD’S FINAL CALL TO SUPPER (12-20-14)
SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 10:21 YOU CANNOT drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
INTRODUCTION: AMONG THE MOST PRECIOUS MEMORIES THAT MOST OF US HAVE, ARE THE MEMORIES OF FAMILY EXPERIENCES.

- SITTING AROUND THE TABLE AT SUPPERTIME WITH MOTHER, DAD, AND OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
(OUR SCRIPTURE, 1 COR. 10: 21.) ON THE SPIRITUAL LEVEL, OFTEN WE CHRISTIANS TRY TO MIX THE FOOD OF SATAN WITH THE FOOD OF GOD. PAUL TELLS US THAT WE CANNOT DO THIS. CONVERSION MEANS:
- FULL COMMITMENT TO CHRIST.
- FULL SEPARATION FROM SIN.
- FULL DEDICATION OF OUR LIFE TO THE SERVICE OF CHRIST, NOT SATAN.
During his 1960 presidential campaign, John F. Kennedy often closed his speeches with the story of Colonel Davenport, the Speaker of the Connecticut House of Representatives: On May 19th, 1780 the sky of Hartford darkened ominously, and some of the representatives, glancing out the windows, feared the end was at hand. Quelling a clamor for immediate adjournment, Davenport rose and said, "The Day of Judgment is either approaching or it is not. If it is not, there is no cause for adjournment. If it is, I choose to be found doing my duty. Therefore, I wish that candles be brought." Rather than fearing what is to come, we are to be faithful till Christ returns. Matthew Chapter 25- CONTINUES THE THOUGHT OF CHRIST CARING FOR HIS CHILDREN:(CHRIST IS SPEAKING); (HE PROMISES US THAT HE WILL RETURN TO JUDGE US AND SEPARATE THE SHEEP FROM THE GOATS; THE SHEEP WILL BE FED IN GREEN PASTURES BY LIVING WATERS:
31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats:
33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

(SUPPERTIME SONG) FOR MOST OF US, ONE OF THE MOST HEAVENLY MOMENTS IN THIS LIFE WAS WHEN WE WERE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY. AS CHILDREN, WE WOULD PLAY IN THE YARD, UNTIL MOTHER WOULD CALL: “SUPPERTIME.”
