Gloucestershire Hospital Education Service (GHES)

Exam and Assessment Results

Generally pupils with GHES are dual-registered with GHES and their home-school and are entered for exams through their home-school. The exam results therefore form part of the registered home-school’s published examination data.

Key Stage 2

GHES also supports pupils from a number of primary schools in Gloucestershire. Working in partnership with the pupils registered home-school, pupils are able to sit their end of Key Stage 2 assessments at home or in hospital, subject to medical approval, if appropriate. Any such arrangement contributes to the schools published performance tables and data.
