Background

Glen Eira City Council’sTransport Advisory Committeeis a newly formed committee, established to provide assistance to Council in the preparation and implementation of Council’s Integrated Transport Strategy and other transport matters as required

Council now seeks volunteers with an interest in transport to fill a vacancy for fourcommunity representatives.

Prospective candidates should read the relevant role description and Council’s Terms of Reference for the Committee prior to applying.

Councillors on the Committee will consider all applications received against the key selection criteria before making a recommendation on the appointment of the external member(s) to Council.

Generally Council committees meet after hours (on a week night other than Tuesdays and Fridays). Please nominate any days that you would be unavailable to attend meetings. Meetings may last up to two hours.
