Send usdetails

  • Get a copy of the Second-Look program application from yourdistributor;online at
  • Fill it out completely; include the location of the job site, a descriptionofthe wallcovering you want to send back and an estimate of theyardage.

Include asample

  • Send an 8”x10” sample of each type of wallcovering you would liketoreturn, allowing us to determine if your material can be safely recycledintonew products.*

  • Once we’ve evaluated your material, we’ll send you completeinstructionson how to return yourwallcovering.
  • Old wallcovering retrieved through the Second-Look program mustbereplaced with newwallcovering.

  • LSI will pick up freight costs to return approved vinyl wallcovering toourSecond-Look Recycling Center in New Castle,Indiana.
  • This free freight offer program is available on any size project, largeor

small, providing the returned material meets the requirements andareplacement order for LSI product of comparable quantity orlarger.

*All samples must be submitted for content screening before they can be included intheprogram. This will ensure that all post-consumer wallcovering returned meets strictquality,environmental and safety standards for retrieval andreuse.

Submittal Procedure

Please follow these guidelines to allow our recycling facility to properlyprocessthe approved material submitted to the Second-Lookprogram.

Preparation

  • Submit only approved vinylwallcovering, with woven backing. (No non-woven backing will be accepted)
  • Remove all nails, screws or other construction debris beforeshipping.
  • Send only dry, un-contaminatedmaterials.
  • Do not include material containing mold ormildew.
  • Include any trim or scrap made duringinstallation, so long as material is dry
  • Include all overages.
  • Returned containers MUST NOT contain“trash”.
  • Return containers MUST be kept dry and out of theelements.

Pack and Ship

  • For clear poly bags, roll between 7 and 10 full-length strips (8’ – 10’long)into each bag, so that each bag weighs no more than 35 pounds.Seal

securely.

  • The bags may be shipped directly to the Second-Look recycling facilityviaUPS. Special instructions will be provided with your packet to helpyouthrough thisprocess.
  • Quantities greater than 500 yards will require a LSI shippingcontainer(s)be supplied to thejobsite.
  • Our Second-Look representative will help determine how manycontainerswill be needed to hold the material and will arrange to have them sentto

the site.

  • When the container is full, our representative will arrange shipmentfromyour job site to the Second-Look recyclingfacility.

Your reclaim project will be reviewed and, once approved custom packagingandshipping instructions will be sent to you. Once product is received at theSecond-Look recycling facility, a confirmation letter will be provided verifying thequantityand receipt of the returned material and its diversion from thelandfill.
