Provided services and assisted in creative development of a number of recovery-based aspects within the Community Rehabilitation and Treatment (CRT) program that services adults with mental illness.

Recovery Work Group Coordinator (2005-Present): Development, facilitation and oversight of a steering committee designed to operationalize and integrate Recovery Principles into the day-to-day practices of the CRT program. Responsible for coordination of scheduling and supports around Recovery Group curriculum.

Employment Consultant/ Community Resource Developer (2000 – Present)

Vocational Opportunity Works! (VOW)

Played an integral role in the development of vocational services for the CRT program, now a state-wide and nationally known program. Currently providing all aspects of vocational counseling from intake and assessment to long-term follow-along services. Mentoring to build skills and instill confidence in prospective job seekers. Developing relationships with area employers through outreach and education. Collaborating with other area programs and supports.

Recovery Leader/ Facilitator (1998 – 2000)

Hired as a Peer Counselor, because of my personal experience with mental illness, to work in a day center based on the Clubhouse model, for adults with mental illness. Involved in numerous tasks including facilitating recovery groups, working one-on-one with clients, assisting in the preparation of meals, conflict resolution as well as planning and managing day-to-day activities.
