Odyssey House Victoria (OHV) is a place of hope and positive change for individuals working towards breaking their pattern of addiction. OHV provides community services for those whose lives have been affected by alcohol and other drugs and is partnering with Uniting Care ReGen to deliver integrated, person-centred and evidence-based treatment services as the N&W Metro AOD Service, part of the Victorian AOD sector reforms.

We are looking for a personable, enthusiastic executive supportprofessional, who will thrive on providing high-level administrative and policy development services to support our busy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive and Management teams. Does this sound like you?

The position

The position is offered as a fixed term contract to 30 June 2019, with possibility of extension if funding allows.Part-time and job share applicants will be considered.

The position is located at 660 Bridge Road Richmond, withsome travel to other service sites and locations.

The key purpose of the position is to deliver an effective and efficient executive support service, and assist with policy and program initiatives across the organisation.

A day in the life of this position includes:

  • working closely with our CEO, Executive Team and Senior Managers
  • organising meetings, taking minutes, tracking and following up on meeting actions
  • organising agendas and papers
  • providingadministrative support for events and training
  • managing internal communications
  • Undertaking literature reviews and needs analyses
  • supporting projects and other initiatives
  • and most importantly … using your initiative, friendly ‘can-do’ attitude and expertise to add value to this essential role!
