Dear Wildwood Golf Club Members

Dear Wildwood Golf Club Members

Dear Wildwood Golf Club Members,

Greetings and Welcome to 2015. Hopefully your “New Year” has started well and will continue to be fruitful through the coming months. With the 2014 Holiday Season now behind us, I would like to thank the Wildwood Membership for the fantastic support within the Clubhouse and yes, even on the Golf Course, in the month of December. Additionally, the holidays at Wildwood could not be a success without the hard work and dedication of Club Staff and this “service” season stands out as one of the smoothest in recent memory. Please join me in thanking the Wildwood Staff for a job well done.

During the month of January the Maintenance Staff is busy taking down holiday decorations and readying the Club to reopen on January 21st. Yearly projects such as carpet cleaning, painting and other miscellaneous projects are currently taking place. The Office / Management Staff is also busy “tuning” systems and processes, setting up training sessions for the staff and beginning new projects to help improve the way in which Wildwood will conduct business in 2015. I would like to discuss one such project in particular and request the assistance of the Wildwood Membership to insure its success.

As you know, Wildwood uses many different systems in order to communicate with Members and promote upcoming events. Progress has been made over the past few years in this area however there remains a very real “communication gap” between Club Operations and the Wildwood Membership. All too often Club Members are unaware of a special event or function despite our best communication efforts with regard to e-mail blasts, statement / clubhouse fliers, website postings or Facebook promotions. Our goal in 2015 is to drastically shrink this “communication gap” by actively seeking accurate and up to date contact, demographic and preference information from the Wildwood Membership. Collecting this updated personal information is the first step towards building a “personalized” communication program for each Member and will prove invaluable as we strive to improve overall communications and Member awareness in 2015. Over the next few weeks and months you will receive a phone call from Wildwood further explaining this initiative and requesting updated contact and preference information. The process will only take a few minutes and in many cases we will already have much of the requested information on file. Additionally, it will be very productive for the Wildwood staff to “touch base” with many Members who we may not have seen for a while, and discuss how we might better serve you in 2015. Attached to this e-mail is the actual questionnaire form that will be used during this process. Feel free to print, complete and return this form to the Club at your convenience to expedite the process. Please remember, the goal is to “personalize” the Club’s communication process so that we can better serve the Membership. Your participation is essential to this initiative.

A few general communication reminders as we begin 2015;

  • You can visit the Wildwood Website Event Calendar ( for event postings and information.
  • The Wildwood Golf Club Facebook page is a great way to stay up to date with Club happenings and participate in an online “Club Community”. “Like” Wildwood if you have not already done so at
  • Your monthly billing statements include event fliers and a very useful 3 month view of upcoming Social and Sports events at Wildwood. This is great “refrigerator” information and will keep you up to date on everything happening at the Club.
  • Promotional e-mail blasts have been standardized and are sent out on Mondays and Thursdays so that you are well informed as the weekend approaches. Additional e-mails will also continue to be sent to promote events as needed.

Thank you once again for your continued support and the Club staff is looking forward to a great 2015. We look forward to seeing you at the Club.

Sincerely,

Vincent Daversa, CCM

General Manager, Wildwood Golf Club.
