The position

The position is offered as a full-time, fixed term contract to 30 June 2019, with possibility of extension if funding allows. The role is based at Melton and other service sites within the North West Region

The key purpose of the position is to provide Alcohol and other Drug counselling and case management support for young people 12 to 25 years old (and their carers and families where appropriate) within the North West Metropolitan Melbourne Catchment.

A day in the life of this position may include: engaging young people through direct outreach, providing client assessments and brief interventions, case planning,drug and alcohol counselling and making relevant referrals, working with other services to support the provision of recovery and harm reduction treatment, supporting families and carers, and completing case notes and other client documentation.
