EXPERIENCE:

Mr. Brazel has been working in the HVAC industry since 1993 and has served in many different capacities. He has started up two successful branch offices in State College and Williamsport, PA for McClure Company, which is one of the largest full-service mechanical contractors in the country. During this time, he worked in the role of Sales Engineer, Service Manager, Regional Manager and General Manager of Service Operations. This Service and controls division grow to $23 million annual service revenue during this period.

In 2002, Mr. Brazel and two previous co-workers founded Enginuity, LLC, a full-service mechanical contractor located in Mechanicsburg, PA. Enginuity quickly grew to over $10 million annual revenue.In 2005 Thom sold his stake in this thriving company to pursue new challenges at Hill York Service Corporation in their Sarasota, FL branch. Mr. Brazel was originally hired as a Sales Engineer, and after a year he was promoted to Branch Manager responsible for the Sarasota Operations. In 2007 he was named General Manager of West Coast Operations for Hill York. He is presently responsible for The Tampa, Sarasota, Ft.Myers and Naples Markets on Florida’s GulfCoast.

Mr. Brazel has been a member of the Board of Managers for the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) since 2002, and has been active on their National Marketing committee as well. Thom was part of the Task Force that created the MSCA LEGS (Labor Estimating Guide for Service) as well as the MSCA Green Star certification and MSCA Green PM. Thom achieved LEED AP for Existing Buildings in February, 2008.

Thom has also been very active in Rotary International, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and several local Chambers of Commerce.

Thom is married with two children, and enjoys RV camping, fishing, golfing and music. He has been playing trombone for almost three decades and has two won World Championships with the Empire Statesmen Drum & Bugle Corps, Rochester, NY. He has traveled all over the world playing with jazz bands, concert bands, drum corps and even symphony orchestras. Presently he plays for the South Shore Concert Band, Sun City Center, FL.
