GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY & INFORMATION

Conditions of Senior Jumping Events:

Nominations close Friday 20th October at 5:00pm for all events. Horses names and EA registration number to be provided on entry form.

Late entries – Will be taken on the day.

Payment of Entry Fees: Entry paid via Showday Online (

No more than 3 classes/day per combination

Entry fees are exclusive of any other fees, e.g. entry fees for non-Show jumping events, membership subscription, stall fees etc.

Entry Fees not refundable except in the following circumstances:-

Where withdrawal of entry is endorsed in writing by a Doctor or a Veterinary officer on the grounds of injury to horse or rider, or if the horse becomes ineligible to compete in the event, or on cancellation of the event prior to the commencement of the event. If an event is cancelled after the commencement of competition in that event, the question of any refund of fees will be determined by the Society after consultation with the judge.

An administration fee of $10 will be charged for entry refunds.

Exhibitors who are exhibiting in the name of a GST registered entity e.g. a horse stud, are required to provide their ABN on the entry form so an appropriate tax invoice can be issued. Prize money, Sashes and Trophies as stated in the prize schedule include GST.

Confirmation of entries:unless the competitor advises to the contrary prior to the first event of the competition, all nominations will be deemed to be confirmed and, except where elsewhere provided, competitors shall be liable to payment of all relevant entry fees.

Substitution of entriesafter nominations have closed will be permitted.

The Drawwill be conducted on the basis of nominations. Late entries will be listed at the discretion of the Chief Steward.

All complaints, to be valid, must be in writing and accompanied by a deposit of $50.

Competitors are covered under the Society’s Public Liability Insurance Policy. See Preamble to Schedule

Horse Stalls: Stalls are available for the use of exhibitors. Preference will be given to those Exhibitors whose place of residence is more than 90kms from Warrnambool. Exhibitors using stalls and camping facilities are required to pay a membership subscription to the Society. A limited number of Stallion Boxes are available and must be booked via SHOWDAY ONLINE in advance at a cost of $10 per box per night. This advance booking also applies to ordinary stalls, these being $10 per yard per night. All yards and stalls are open fronted & only available to horses entered for the Show. Fees must be paid in advance with Entry Fees.

The Society reserves the right to reserve stalls in special circumstances.Due to limited space being available for float parking, temporary horse yards are only allowed to be erected if all stables & yards are fully booked.Yards must be panel type not star picket and electrical tape as per EA regulations, and must be dismantled on show days by 6.am

Horse transports must be parked as directed by parking attendants and within the parking areas reserved for this purpose.
