GASPEREAU ELEMENTARY PHYS ED NEWS
I am super exited to be back at Gaspereau, to see how much all the students and grown, and be ready for more exciting activities and events in the gym. Please read the Physical Education newsletter coming home shortly with details about our Quality Daily Physical Education (QDPE) program including expectations and set-up of the gymnasium and the new P-5 Phys. Ed. Curriculum. Students will be given the opportunity to be involved in many different types of physical activities and school leadership opportunities including daily PE classes, special events, intra-murals, PAL team, Equipment Managers, after-school programs and more. Please encourage your child to get involved and be active both in school and at home. It’s good for the body and the brain!
Cross-Country running is just around the corner for students in grades 3-5, and the schedule is almost finalized. Signup and permission forms will go home with interested students at the end of this week. Please help your child to take advantage of this exciting experience, sign them up, and come along to cheer them on.
Looking forward to an awesome year!

GASPEREAU VALLEY ELEMENTARY
On September 28, 2017 we will have our annual Terry Fox Walk. As in the past we will raise money for this event by asking for donations.
We will be sending home pledge sheets and the AVRSB consent forms next Tuesday. All money collected will go to the Terry Fox Foundation to be used for cancer research.
