Environmental Field Studies Support and Engineering Technician: Works directly with soil scientist providing field assistance and CAD drafting support. Field responsibilities include gathering biological and spatial data for the identification of wetlands, vernal pools and other geographic features. Provides assistance with medium and high intensity soil surveys. Develops CAD plans and details for environmental assessments and a wide range of civil and structural engineering projects.

Bourne Consulting Engineering, Franklin, Massachusetts, 2002-2005

Engineering Technician: Conducted topographic and hydrographic surveys; reduced data into site plans and terrain models. Primary responsibility was drafting site plans, permit plans, and construction plans for waterfront-related civil and structural engineering projects in the private and public sectors. Performed volume calculations in order to determine proposed and pay volumes for dredge projects. Adapted technical drawings for public presentations, proposals, and reports.
