All we have to do now is tell everyone it’s on and we have all been practicing hard to present a quality concert and a nice cuppa tea.

Second part is easy with our strong team of volunteers to help sell entry and raffle tickets and prepare afternoon tea.

Due to the rush of nominations for executive positions my internet has been compromised and we request you all come to your census and resubmit your applications. No fines will be enforced for late submissions and your metadata is secure, sort of!!

As we have guests from the BRC coming to the AGM, full attendance would be appreciated. Members will be invited to present issues or ask questions from the floor during the meeting.

These questions need to be submitted to President, Lesley Hume by 23rd August to be considered

Bargara Clean-Up Day. Saturday Morning 3 Sep.

All available players from the Band and the Brass Academy are requested to provide entertainment at this community event. Beats picking up rubbish!!

State Championships 1-2 October

1. Travel and Accommodation requirements.

New arch rivals Capricorn Silver Band has offered us bunks at the Marsden Youth Centre, Kallangur and a shuttle to and from the contest.

Sabotage is not ruled out as a possible strategy. Can we trust them

Transport and Accommodation requirements need to be sorted at Tuesday’s rehearsal.

2. All players will be issued with a recycled folder for your contest and concert music which you may take home for your practice.

Due to the outside chance of possible equipment malfunction allowing Cap Silver gaining supremacy over us, we request that all members rearrange their maintenance program to schedule extra performance checks as listed on the following dates.
