Dear teams,

Flagstaff Fusion would like to be the first to welcome you to the 2018Home Opener Tournament for the Tyke, Novice, Pee Wee & Midget divisions!

This year, Flagstaff Fusion was granted the opportunity to host this tournament by the ALA. Standings from your teams placements in this tournament will assist the ALA in where your team will rank for provincials should they decide to participate in July.

Each team (Novice, Pee wee & Midget) is guaranteed four games. They will play a round robin format playing each team at least once. Depending on your wins, loses or tie points you will be placed as 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th. The 1st & 2nd placed teams will play each other for the Championship and 3rd and 4th will play each other for 3rd place. Tykes will play 3 or 4 games depending on the team’s wishes and all on the Saturday. Format subject to change without notice.

We have some fun things planned for the teams. Also we ask that all teams participate in our Food Bank Drive. In this package I will provide the instructions and a list of what we are looking for.

Flagstaff is excited to host this tournament and has planned a fun and eventful weekend for the whole family. Whether you play lacrosse or just like to watch it there will be plenty for you to do. You can take a stroll through our prize table or bid on some silent auction prizes, For more things to do outside of the rink please reference the Things To Do Page.

With all the teams attending this promises to be a fun, exciting and nail biting weekend of lacrosse.

Yours in sport,

Flagstaff Fusion Lacrosse Association

In Closing….

Thank you for joining us in our upcoming tournament. We have a fun and exciting weekend ahead.

If you enjoy lacrosse as much as I do you will want to hang out at the arenas all weekend. Should you have any questions or concerns there will be a tournament host table set up at each arena and here you will find a person that you can ask or address your concerns with.

The host table will also be where you can find your gamesheets for each game. You will also hand in your sheets to this table so they can update the website and other tallies.

The prize table and silent auction table is located at the Sedgewick Recreation Center.

Prize table packages are available. Each package is $20 included in that you will get 10-small prize table tickets and 5 big prize table tickets and an entry for the loonie stick. The prize table items will be broke down into individual packages as well.

There will be 50/50’s for sale during each game. The 50/50’s are priced at 1 ticket for $5 or 3 tickets for $10

All proceeds are in support of the Flagstaff Fusion Lacrosse Association. We would like to take this time to thank all those attending and those who have donated to our tournament. Whether it is through purchasing tickets, a donation, the foodbank drive or simply working a shift. We thank you.

We hope you enjoy our tournament!
