ARV Users Association (AUA) was founded in 2002 by a small group of PLHIV who received ARV in Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital. AUA is non-governmental organization and non-profit. AUA activities include providing therapeutic education, emotional and psycho-social support in order to promote adherence to ARV treatment and better health and to empower PLHIV to understand their rights to quality of care. AUA also solicits feedback from PLHIV and coordinates mechanisms designed to monitor treatment, quality of care and other issues affecting the PLHIV.

AUA currently facilitates activities in the OI/ART (Opportunistic Infections/Antiretroviral Treatment) clinics at Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital, Meanchey ReferralHospital (RH), SamdachOv RH, Pochentong RH, Chamkardong Health Center in Phnom Penh, Keasvay RH in Kandal province and Kampong Cham, Chamkar Leu and SreiSanthor Referral Hospitals, Kampong Cham province. At present, AUA has almost 1729 members. AUA is seeking a qualified Cambodian national for the position of Fundraiser/ Program Manager (70% Fundraising and 30% Program activities) 1position.

Location: Phnom Penh

Schedule: Full-time

Salary Range: 507 US$ -607US$

Duties

  • Develop and create fundraising policy, procedure and plan
  • Research funding sources, oversee the development of a fundraising plan, and develop grant proposals to increase the organization financial resources
  • Research public or private organizations/donors who may provide financial support to AUA projects.
  • Seek public or private calls for proposals which would fit with AUA activities and to prepare the proposals
  • Create the activities need to undertake to promote fundraising activities such as Feature articles in newspapers about projects, Special events, Road show, Spokesperson / Presentation team
  • Ask other NGOs, current donors, research on the internet, networks, association of non-profits, foundations, etc.
  • Work backwards and set target timelines/dates to accomplish tasks related to acquiring funding for fundraising methods, implementing fund raising activities, mobilizing resources, etc.
  • Wok independently in fundraising communication.
  • Produce high quality and professional fundraising material.
  • Formulate forward plans and the monthly work program for fundraising activities and submit regular proposal to current and new donors
  • Produce global report to donors and assist Project Manager in other report review and submit to donors on time.
  • Work closely with Project Manager and Executive Director in completing the project design including, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and proposal writing
  • Participate in Management Team to overviewthe Organizational Development Process for take action
  • To apply and review staff policy, assist in recruitment and training.
  • To provide coaching and technical support to supervisory and office staff.
  • To participate in external meetings and conferences as a representative of AUA.
  • To establish and maintain excellent working relationships with donors, MoH, NCHADS and hospital staff.
  • Assist other work required by Executive Director

Requirements

  • A masters or bachelors degree in Health, Project Management, Organizational Development or related fields, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 years professional experience in fundraising and donor communications, additional experience in management
  • Demonstrated ability to write funding proposals and donor reports
  • Experience in financial management, planning and reporting
  • Familiar with the issues related to HIV/AIDS in Cambodia
  • Knowledge of human resources, monitoring and evaluation, and project management
  • Strong, effective communication, and the ability to initiate processes and make decisions
  • Flexibility, versatility and tolerance in a complex and ever-changing work environment
  • Computer literate such as Ms Office, Internet & Email
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent in language ability both English and Khmer
