Quiz night – £295.00 – good night. Good split of staff and families. Raffles went down well.

Race night? – Isla has been to an event where you have to physically reel in the horses. We will consider this for a later date – possible spring time.

Christmas Fayre – November 4th, 18th, or 25th. Thainstone Mart – same weekend? May be difficult to get stall holders. We ran the Fayre from 10.00-1.00 last year. We had 16 tables last year. £236.50 (10% of sales). Should we contact last year’s stall holders?

Look at layout – Room 7 didn’t get as much traffic.

Last year - £2 a ticket and children were free. Shortbread, pancakes and mince pies, teas and coffees. Put into Room 7, and Room 7 stalls in dining room. Photo booth – was tucked away last year.

Yvonne will make up direction posters and signs for fayre.

Room 8 – raffles, photo booth, face painting, tattoos.

Isla will do posters/banners for the fayre.

Ladies day - Ann has lots of raffle tickets books.

All sponsors are family connections. A lot of people/businesses have their own charities that they support.

Sponsorship of tables. Prosecco, goodie bags and afternoon teas mostly covered.

Raffles – Sharon has donated Michael Korrs bag and Radley umbrella and tote bag.

Isla still waiting to hear back from some businesses.

Ladies day is ready to go!

Johnston and Charmichael – have been in touch – Gina and Vicki to give a presentation about the school. Might sponsor a table. Amy McRobbie – wants to come to next meeting and will possibly be involved with the Christmas fayre. Are keen to be ‘hands on’.

Polytunnel – rotary. Gills class to do a thank you letter. Rotary paying for extra slabs for inside the polytunnel.

Eye gaze - Ian Duiguid has raised £1205.00 towards an eye gaze system. Catherine Smith knows him – Irene to speak in relation to contact? If it goes to school, school can claim VAT back. Thank you letter.

Spree - The Spree books went out today.

Cauliflower cards? - Yvonne texted Fiona. We will discuss at DLT tomorrow, but is happy to do it if parents are happy to participate.

Compliments slips - Some companies approached for sponsorship asked for a ‘card’ or headed paper to make it more official – Friends contact details. Compliments slips – adapt.

Treasurer - Mydonate? Gavin and his ‘mucker’?

Mr Mills – marathon.

Mr Woods – cycle.

Ann to check bank account, and to give Isla forms to change details.

Newsletter to go out. We are getting a lot of money in and don’t know who to thank.

School to look at what we want to put money towards. Ipads? Irene to put a note into cubby holes for ideas of a wish list.

Webb Ivory - are no longer a company. They have gone to a company called ‘Ace’ who will be sending out a sample catalogue.

Next meeting – 10th October, then 7th November – 6.30.
